Meet Sayyida McKnight, the latest talent to join Mane.Lobby. A New Jersey native and passionate stylist, Sayyida’s journey in the world of beauty began in 2017, shortly after high school when she enrolled in cosmetology school. Although life momentarily diverted her path, Sayyida found her way back to her passion for hair, driven by a deep love for the craft and the support of her loved ones, including her young daughter. This return marked the beginning of a journey that’s as inspiring as it is empowering.
Now in her mid-20s, Sayyida has dedicated herself wholeheartedly to mastering her craft. She holds a license in cosmetology and has expanded her skill set with a certification in eyelash extensions, continuously taking courses to refine her expertise. While some might see her as a young professional, Sayyida knows that it’s not about age—it’s about experience. This belief fuels her approach, as she lives by the motto, “Life is about experience,” and applies this philosophy to every style she creates.
What sets Sayyida apart is her genuine desire to make a difference in people’s lives. She says, “I know this is my passion because when I wake up each day, I’m not just going to work—I’m setting out to make people feel confident and beautiful. There’s nothing like seeing someone’s face light up when they look in the mirror.
With specialties in natural hair silk pressing, protective styling, blowouts, and single-process coloring, Sayyida’s skills are as versatile as they are precise. Yet, she refuses to limit herself, striving to excel in any area she explores. Her hands, which she calls her “paintbrush,” are her tools for bringing joy, confidence, and transformation to every client she touches.

As she steps into this next phase, she’s committed to making a lasting impact through her artistry and dedication, helping clients feel empowered and confident in their own skin.
