Dawn’s journey into the world of hairstyling is a testament to her roots and passion for creativity. Hailing from New Jersey, Dawn is a proud graduate of James Caldwell High School. Her connection to the world of hair, fashion, and art runs deep, thanks to the influence of her grandmother and mother, both skilled hairdressers. Dawn practically grew up in her mother's salon, where her early exposure to the industry sparked a lifelong interest

In her teenage years, Dawn actively contributed to her mother's salon, assisting at the front desk, rinsing out perms, and preparing clients for her mother's expert touch. Despite this hands-on involvement, Dawn pursued higher education and earned a BA in art. Her journey then led her into the realm of marketing, where she honed her skills from 1996 to 2003. However, the corporate world's office politics proved incompatible with her true calling.

Following a shift in career trajectory, Dawn dedicated eight years to early childhood education. While fulfilling, she still longed for a more creative outlet. The pivotal moment came in 2013 when, encouraged by her own hairdresser and her mother, Dawn decided to pursue a cosmetology license.

The transition felt natural, especially when it came to working with hair – a craft that Dawn embraced effortlessly.

Today, Dawn finds immense satisfaction in her work. For her, there's nothing more rewarding than making someone feel good about themselves. Her belief is that her diverse background, combining marketing, education, and artistic endeavors, has uniquely shaped her approach as a hairstylist. Dawn's listening skills, cultivated through her varied experiences, allow her to intuitively understand her clients' needs and goals for their hair.
