ASLI OZDES

Asli’s story is one of courage, heritage, and a lifelong passion for beauty. Born in Istanbul, she moved to the U.S. alone at 14, landing in San Francisco where her uncle and grandfather—both hairstylists—ran a family salon. Immersed in their world of scissors, color, and transformation, Asli spent her afternoons sweeping floors, finishing homework, and watching her family work their magic on clients.

She found inspiration in the way her uncle could make someone feel entirely renewed, sparking in her a deep desire to master the art of hair herself. It wasn’t long before she earned her cosmetology license, determined to carry on the family tradition and support her own dreams of attending college.

A twist of fate brought Asli to New York City after meeting her future husband in a coffee shop, and the city opened a new chapter in her career. She quickly made her mark as a freelance stylist, working with powerhouse brands like Versace, Ralph Lauren, Dolce & Gabbana, and Tommy Hilfiger.

Her skill and speed led her backstage at New York Fashion Week, where she created looks for celebrities including Kendall Jenner, Naomi Campbell, and the Jonas Brothers. Her freelance work took her everywhere, from luxe venues across the East Coast like Martha’s Vineyard and the Catskills to private homes and stunning locations throughout New York City.

Yet as thrilling as these experiences were, Asli found herself missing the community of a salon. With the pandemic came an era of isolation, and becoming a mother deepened her desire to be part of a team again—a place where she could share her expertise and connect more deeply with her clients. Joining Mane Lobby, where Cee and her husband made her feel instantly at home, felt like a return to her roots. It was here that she realized she could bring her high-fashion experience and international perspective into a warm, welcoming salon environment.

Today, Asli draws from her unique blend of family legacy, world-class experience, and personal passion, infusing every appointment with creativity and care. She’s thrilled to bring her story, her skill, and her heart to Mane Lobby, ready to create looks that make each client feel like their most radiant self.
